John Wick 4 & The Matrix 4 Will Both Be Released On The Same Day In 2021

Warner Bros. just announced the release date for the long-awaited Matrix sequel!

The movie is due out on May 21, 2021... which is the same day John Wick: Chapter 4 comes out, also starring Keanu Reeves.

So why the same day? The Daily Dot says it's a major competition for studios to get out their Blockbusters on certain dates which makes some movies move or stay. In the case of the Matrix, which is probably competing with Marvel/Disney movies, the date that was open so happens to be on the date of John Wick: Chapter 4.

Either way, it's a great day for Keanu Reeves fans!
