Pawtucket Police Say Woman Shot Multiple Times

(Pawtucket, RI)--Pawtucket police are investigating a shooting on Wednesday night.Authorities responded to a report of shots fired on Baxter Street in the city's Darlington section at around 8:00 last night.Reports indicate a 54-year-old woman was shot multiple times in the chest.She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital; no word on her condition.
