Father Holds Gun To Son's Head For Drinking Last Dr Pepper: Police

A Louisiana man was arrested for allegedly holding a gun to the head of his nine-year-old son. Police say that Chad Kinnaird, 39, became enraged with the boy because he drank the last Dr Pepper in the house.

The incident reportedly occurred on December 28th, but the police were not called until New Year's Day. The boy told the officers that his father was drunk at the time, and Kinnaird's 11-year-old daughter claimed he previously admitted to pointing the gun at her brother.

Authorities recovered a .32 caliber handgun and Kinnaird was taken into custody and charged with for violating a protective order and domestic abuse battery/child endangerment. He has denied the allegations.
