77th Annual Golden Globe Awards - Arrivals

Fresh off his Golden Globes win for best supporting actor for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Brad Pitt is opening up about his much-gossiped about personal life in a revealing new interview. The 56-year-old actor year old actor sat down with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio on comedian Marc Maron's WTF podcast where they discussed some of the pit falls of super star fame.

While Pitt and DiCaprio both try to keep their private lives out of the public eye, they pop up constantly in tabloids reporting on their personal lives. Pitt believes — when it comes to his own appearance in tabloids, anyway — that it's a direct result of his "disaster of a personal life." His comments come just two days after he made a joke about the rampant speculation about his dating life while accepting his Golden Globe. Pitt joked that he wanted to bring his mom to the show but couldn't "because any woman I stand next to they say I’m dating. And that would just be awkward.”

Pitt didn't reference any personal drama directly in his interview, however, his ongoing divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie have been constant tabloid fodder since they announced their split back in 2016. The former couple are reportedly still working out the financial details of their divorce, including deciding what to do with the French Chateau they shared.

It seems unlikely whispers about Pitt's second divorce will die down anytime soon. His first marriage to Jennifer Aniston is still a point of fascination for many nearly 25 years after they called it quits. Though the two actors remain friends — Pitt attended Aniston's 50th birthday party last year, as well as her holiday party a few weeks ago — their friendship often gets twisted into rumors about a potential romantic reconciliation.

The rumors will likely persist and fans can except Pitt's tight-lipped approach to addressing them to remain the same, as well. He may think his personal life is disastrous, but that's the most intel fans are going to get from him.
