Talinda Bennington has found love once again!
The widow of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington announced on Saturday (January 4) that she got married in Hawaii. The wedding comes four months after she publicly announced her engagement. “I wed a wonderful man, great friend, and son this weekend, she wrote in a tweet. “We celebrated with all of our family and friends on the beautiful island of O’ahu.”
Sadly, Talinda's news comes at the expense of false news that was spread. Rumors were circulating that she got married on New Year's Day; which is her anniversary with the Linkin Park singer. The fake claims caused outrage among Linkin Park fans and others so she had no choice but to set the record straight.
With joy and love I want to set something straight. ON JANUARY 4th, I wed a wonderful man, great friend, and son this weekend. We celebrated with all of our family and friends on the beautiful island of O’ahu. The day we chose was a day of meaning, in many different ways. Cont.. pic.twitter.com/jziN4lBjS4

“My anniversary w/Chester, wasn’t my new wedding date. Jan 1st will always be the day I married Chester. I would never paint over that day with anything else,” she explained. “To the tabloids who ran a false story, inciting misguided anger & pain, I ask you FOR WHAT?? To make money??”
Fans were quick to have her back and send their congratulations to the newlyweds and their families.

Talinda is honoring her late husband's legacy and life with the recently-announced 320 Festival. The one-day event is set to take place at Los Angeles' LA Live on May 9, 2020 and will feature a mental health summit, community festival, and benefit concert with "a-list talent" that has yet to be announced.
"After my husband lost his battle with depression and addiction, I knew I had to make a change to the mental health landscape," she wrote in a statement. "I began speaking to as many mental health groups as I could find. Whitney Showler and Music For Relief have been very supportive and helpful on this journey."
