Woman Critically Injured In Gretna Workplace Accident

GRETNA, Nebraska - A 39 year old woman is in critical condition after an accident at Tradewell Pallet at 22801 Fairview Road in Gretna.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office reports that at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Gretna Fire, Sarpy County deputies and a medical helicopter were called to the facility. The woman had been working with a pallet grinder and got caught. It pulled her partially into it and caused extreme trauma to her head, arms and upper body.

The woman was air lifted to a hospital in critical condition. No further details on her condition have been released.

OSHA was notified and will conduct an investigation.
