Former Jagaurs OC John DeFillipo was on the market for about two days before landing a job as the QB Coach in Chicago.
Big changes to Bears coaching staff: former Jaguars’ OC John DeFilippo is being hired as their QB coach, QB coach Dave Ragone is being promoted to passing game coordinator, and Bill Lazor is being hired as OC, per league source.

This will be DeFillipo's third job in as many seasons after being let go by the Jaguars 1 year into the job, he was also let go by the Vikings 13 games into the season in 2018. As a QB Coach in 2016-17 DeFillipo developed Carson Wentz and led Nick Foles to a Super Bowl MVP which garnered him enough traction to earn the promotions to OC, before being let go from both OC Jobs and returning to the bears as QB Coach.
