Authorities in Florida were not impressed with a suspect who tried to evade capture. Police went to serve a warrant for 36-year-old Daniel Christopher Booth at his job when he ran off. Booth, who was accused of selling methamphetamine, thought he could avoid detection by hiding underwater in a nearby pond. His plan didn't work, and he was spotted by police dogs when he came up for air.

"Now we can only assume that Mr. Booth has seen one too many action movies," said the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office in a statement on Facebook. "He didn't take into account that he's not a fish and had to come up for air and was quickly captured."

A "soaking wet" Booth was taken to jail and is facing multiple charges for "his not so great escape."

This is not the first time Booth has been in trouble with the law. In 2013 he was sentenced to 20 months in prison for selling methamphetamine.
