Justin Bieber is making his return to SNL during the RuPaul-hosted episode of the long-running sketch show.

As per an announcement on Tuesday (January 21), the pop titan will serve as musical guest, while the RuPaul's Drag Race superstar makes his debut as host of the February 8 episode of the NBC broadcast. Previously, Bieber appeared as musical guest in 2010 and took on double duty as host and performer in 2013. He also made a cameo on the 100th SNL Digital Short in 2012.

Back in 2018, SNL alums Jay Pharaoh and Bill Hader spoke about one of his appearances on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, admitting that the pop star was "in a bad place" during filming. "Maybe he's in a better place, but back then he was in a very ... it was rough," Hader said of the singer. "Everybody's usually on great behavior.... Bieber is the only one in my experience ... he just seemed like exhausted or just at the end of a rope. I mean, he was just so huge."

Additionally, the network announced that NFL star J.J. Watt and Luke Combs will serve up entertainment on the February 1 episode.
