We’ve been given a glimpse at Taylor Swift as her most real, raw and vulnerable self in the trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary.
The official trailer for ‘Miss Americana’ was released this morning, giving Swifties their first look at the highly anticipated project.
“It’s been a long time coming,” wrote Taylor alongside the video on her Instagram.
The trailer seems to indicate that this film will take a deep dive into Taylor’s life during her period of absence from the spotlight and how she used that time to really find herself.
“I came the person everyone wanted me to be,” she says in a voiceover during the trailer. “I had to deconstruct an entire belief system, toss it out, and reject it.”
The documentary has been directed by Emmy-winning director Lana Wilson. It will premiere at Sundance film festival before being released in selected threats and on Netflix on January 31.
Bring it on!
