Demi Lovato made her triumphant return to the mic!
The 27-year-old took center field in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday evening (February 2) to deliver a powerful rendition of the National Anthem just moments before the San Francisco 49ers faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs for Super Bowl LIV.
Dressed in a dazzling white outfit with her brunette tresses flowing freely, the Grammy-nominated recording artist unleashed a soaring and indomitable interpretation of “Star Spangled Banner,” drawing football fans on their feet with applause as she vaunted her remarkable register and piercing high notes.
As expected, Lovatics couldn't wait to praise and cheer on their fave with the phrase "Yes Demi" already gaining traction on Twitter. "YES DEMI GET ITTTTTT," one follower tweeted. Another exclaimed, "Yes Demi!!! One of the best #NationalAnthem performances ever. I could feel the hope in her voice. @SuperBowl #DemiLovato."

The “Sorry Not Sorry” musician’s patriotic presentation comes just a week after she made her grand return to the stage at the 2020 Grammy Awards, where she debuted a poignant new ballad entitled “Anyone.”
In the hours leading up to tonight’s performance, Lovato revealed she one prophesied her big Super Bowl showcase in a tweet from 10 years ago. She revisited the fond memory by re-tweeting the same tweet — originally shared on February 7, 2010 — which read: “One day, I’m gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl. Onnnee dayyy….”
Looks like Demi’s dream finally came true!
