Get out the thick black eyeliner and studded belts! Aussie punk rock band Short Stack could be reuniting and it’s possible they’ll release new music!

The boy band, which broke up officially back in 2015 following a short hiatus in 2012, sparked interest from fans after their official Twitter account was updated with plain black artwork in their profile picture and cover image.

In the past, artists have typically done something like this when they’re about to announce something big like new music.

More evidence that points to a reunion is a tweet that has since been swiftly deleted by the band’s lead singer Shaun Divney, which reportedly said according to Junkee, “maaaaybe be online tomorrow night”.

After all of this fans of course began googling the band, because that’s what we do these days when we want to know anything, and something rather suspicious came up.

The search came up with something called ‘Sandy’, which could be a new single or an album, and next to it it said “out March 13”.

It’s safe to say fans have gone absolutely nuts at the possibility on Twitter.

What in the heck is going on Short Stack?! We need answers!

In case you weren’t madly obsessed with the band a decade ago, Short Stack first shot to fame in 2009 with the release of their punk hit Stack Is The New Black.

The band was made of members Shaun Disney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb.
