FRIENDS Has Been Turned Into A Musical And Yes, It’s Coming To Sydney

Just imagine a song dedicated to the infamous work of David Schwimmer in the Pivot scene. A whole choir joining in for several renditions of ‘We Were On A Break’. Or an upbeat number asking people, ‘How you doin?’

That’s right, everyone’s favourite 90s sitcom FRIENDS has been made into a musical and it’s actually on it’s way to stages Down Under!

This news has literally made our day, our month and even our year!

Friends! The Musical Paraody sees our six friends hanging out in their favourite coffee house in New York as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

So basically it sounds similar to the TV show itself, just with some added songs and dance breaks!

Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe are all involved in the parody prformance (although sadly not their OG actors and actresses) and the plot is said to follow the best moments from the show’s decade long run, recreating each moment through an uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp.

Friends! The Musical Parody will come to Australia from August this year with tickets going on sale from February 7!
