Khalid Celebrates The Classics In New Reebok Campaign: See The Photos

Khalid is celebrating some of Reebok's most iconic sneakers in their latest "Sport The Unexpected" campaign, which launched on Monday (February 3).

Just last month, the superstar was announced as the latest celebrity ambassador for the fashion giant and the recent unveil sees the company fuse "the brand's revered heritage with Khalid’s disruptive spirit." In newly-released promotional shots, the star is seen rocking the line's Classic Leather and Club C sneakers. While the former was originally introduced to the public in 1983 and has evolved from an OG running show into a symbol of style, the Club C was released two years later in 1985 and essentially paved the way for white leather to be worn off the tennis courts and in every day life.

"I love how they mix old and new and honor the classics with fresh twists," Khalid previously said in a statement. "I hope we can inspire a new generation of people to be themselves and take creative chances."

In a separate statement, Matt Blonder, VP of Marketing and Digital Brand Commerce at Reebok, touted the star as a "a beacon of originality, pride and imagination for today’s rising youth." "Through his unique sound and a personal journey that took him across the country, Khalid authentically symbolizes our common ethos – to inspire creativity and encourage experimentation," he continued.

Among the previous spokespeople for the brand include Cardi B, Ariana Grande and more. Expect to see Khalid's "Sport the Unexpected" advertisements run worldwide.
