Meghan Trainor Talks Working With Nicki Minaj

Meghan Trainor dropped by the KTU studio in New York City to hang out with Carolina and Greg T and chat about new music, getting engaged and working with Nicki Manaj!

She dished on her new album and working with Nicki Manaj, who recently came out of retirement from music. Her new song, "Nice To Meet Ya" features Nicki Manaj and takes place in a corporate office. Trainor revealed the music video was her idea and the inspiration behind it. “All of this is because of my mom. We were traveling to London a lot because we were doing The Voice UK and she’s like ‘you’ve got to watch Working Girl, which is an 80s movie if you haven’t seen it. And it’s a crazy thing that women are in the office and they’re just running stuff. And I loved the movie. I thought Nicki Manaj and I should be in an office with a cute 80s theme but kinda modern and we should be dancing on tables."
