Watch Chase Rice's New Music Video For 'Lonely If You Are'

Chase Rice's new video for "Lonely If You Are" off his surprise project The Album Part I has been released.

The video, directed by Reid Long, features young aspiring musicians posing as Rice plus his band and crew at 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Rice himself makes a few appearances throughout the video, the first as the meet & greet photographer and later in the pre-show huddle.

"Performing on the road for a sold-out crowd is something our childhood selves dreamed about, so it’s cool to see ‘mini versions’ of us living out those moments in the video," Rice explains. "We wanted to highlight how much fun it really is getting to play shows all over the world and how fortunate we are to share these moments with our fans."

"Lonely If You Are" is one of the seven tracks included on Rice's The Album, Part I, which follows up 2018's Lambs & Lions album. The singer has shared he is already at work on Part II and in a recent interview assures fans that "there'll be a Part III at some point, and that'll become the [full] album."

"I personally think it's the best music I've ever put out- that's why I'm calling it The Album," Rice said in an interview. "This is the album that's really starting my career. I look back on the last eight years and there’s a lot of songs I'm very proud of and were huge for me, but I didn't know who I was as a person, who I was as an artist. It was just happening. I was blessed with success early on; Now I'm prepared for it. I’m more focused on music than I've ever been in my life, writing the best songs I've ever written in my life."

Rice recently concluded his headlining "The Pint Of Anything Tour" in Europe and will soon join Brantley Gilbert on his "Fire't Up Tour" for select dates starting on April 16 in Greenville, South Carolina. Tickets for the tour are available now.
