Miranda Lambert Invites Her Hometown High School Choir On Stage During Show

Miranda Lambert gave students from her former high school an experience they'll never forget. On Saturday night (February 8) during her show in Dallas, Texas, the country superstar invited her alma mater's choir on stage to sing with her.

The Lindale High School choir incorporated their smooth harmonies into Lambert's melancholy song, "Tin Man" off her The Weight of These Wings album. According to a local news station, nearly two dozen students took part in the performance.

Lambert's Dallas show was part of her "Wildcard Tour" which launched on January 16 in Tupelo, Mississippi. Last weekend Lambert was forced to reschedule shows in two cities including Salt Lake City and Denver, due to illness. "No talking. All the tea in the world. Sleep. Meds," she told fans at the time. "I'm feeling a lot better but unfortunately my voice is just not back yet and there is nothing else I can do but wait."

Salt Lake City's show has been rescheduled for February 25 while Denver's new date will be March 2. A full list of cities and tour dates for Lamberts "Wildcard Tour" can be seen here.

Fellow country singer, Cody Johnson and Lanco are opening acts for the "Wildcard Tour." The Randy Rogers Band and Parker McCollum will also join Lambert for a few select stops. Tickets to the tour are available now.
