Janet Jackson And Bruno Mars To Headline 2020 Essence Festival

The Essence Festival's 50th-anniversary celebration isn't messing around.

It was announced on Tuesday that Janet Jackson and Bruno Mars will headline the event over the 4th of July weekend in New Orleans.

The Superdome lineup will also include Janelle Monae, Patti LaBelle, Raphael Saadiq, Swizz Beatz and more.

This year's theme is "Own Our Power."
