Should We Add Trump To President's Day? - Monday 60 Minute Poll

February 17, 2020

Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, the holiday became popularly known as Presidents Dayafter it was moved as part of 1971's Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation's workers. For many years school children celebrated both Washington's birthday and Lincolns birthday since both were born in February.

Even though it is called President's Day it officially is the celebration of Washington's birthday but many people celebrate all presidents. Is it time to officially add the name of the sitting president to the celebration? Should we add President Donald Trump to the celebration?
