Woman Charged After 11 Year Old Gives Birth At Home

In St. Charles Missouri 35 year old Lesbia Cante is being charged with felony child endangerment after failing to provide medical care to an 11 year old relative that gave birth after being raped by a teenager. 17 year old Norvin Lopez-Cante was charged last week with statutory rape and statutory sodomy of a child younger than 12, and admitted to police to sexually assaulting the girl approximately 100 times. The child gave birth in the bathtub at home last Tuesday, and the newborn was taken to the hospital an hour after entering this world, and detectives were then dispatched to the house where they found the 11 year old.
