Hayden Panettiere has broken her silence following boyfriend Brian Hickerson’s recent domestic battery arrest.

The 30-year-old actress resurfaced on social media, taking to Twitter Sunday (February 23) with a since-deleted tweet in which she praised her ex-fiance, Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter, Kaya. “Best father ever,” she supposedly captioned a picture of the father-daughter pair dancing, according to Us Weekly

Mistaking Klitschko for Hickerson, a Twitter fan asked if the photo was snapped “before or after he beat you,” to which Panettiere responded, “Wrong guy. Klitschko’s r legends. That’s my CHAMP.” Then another fan followed, asking, “Hayden, how are you doing are you okay?” which the performer assured, “Always good."

The Heroes alum’s latest tweets come weeks after Hickerson was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming, on Valentine’s Day (February 14) on charges of domestic battery and interfering with an officer.

Per court docs procured by TMZ, the 30-year-old was detained after he allegedly struck Panettiere “with a closed fist,” leaving “the right side of her face … red and swollen.” When cops arrived, the South Carolina native supposedly told cops his girlfriend claimed he “beat the f—k out of her.” However, before being released on a $5,000 bond after the charges were dropped, Hickerson would not answer to the allegations.

Days after news broke of Hickerson’s arrest, an insider expressed their concern for Panettiere, telling Us Weekly, "Hayden is in danger with Brian. Add impairment issues from drinking too much and it will have a tragic outcome if she continues the relationship.” What’s more, the source adds the actress believes the incident was a one-time thing, which explains why she didn’t “materialize as a witness against him” in court.

This isn’t Hickerson’s first arrest. The aspiring actor was booked in May 2019 for domestic violence after an altercation with Panettiere as well. The case was later dismissed the following September after she refused to testify.
