Tyler Farr tells all when it comes to working with Jason Aldean, and for the most part, it's pretty positive.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Tyler praised the "You Make It Easy" entertainer for being an outstanding mentor and cheerleader for him over the years.

"He is one of my best friends," shares the "Only Truck In This Town" singer. "I grew up just a block from here, singing "Amarillo Sky," and "Hicktown" down at Tootsies. I have always looked up to him as an artist. Now that we are friends, I look up to him as a person. He has been a mentor to me, a big brother. He never had a little brother, so I took on that role, which by the way, means you pretty much just get made fun of a lot," teased Tyler.

Tyler, who joined Jason's record label Broken Bow Records / Night Train Records as their flagship artist was excited to embark on his new chapter, but said that he had one big question for Jason before he signed the contract.

"I said, "Man, do expect out of this?" and Jason said, "Man, I just want to get back to you being Tyler." That answer was enough to Tyler to seal the deal.

"What is something that you can tell us about Jason that maybe only you know?" probed Cody.

"He is the most competitive person I have ever met in my entire life," laughed Tyler. "I don't care if its frisbee golf, basketball, bowling… bowling, he will get fired up!"

Cody knew exactly what Tyler meant. Cody remembered a time when they faced off against each other to knock down pins on CMT's Hot 20 television show. "Did he ever tell you that I beat him bowling?" laughed Cody. "He kept his cool because cameras were running."

"Oh, but, it burned him alive. I promise you!" confirmed Tyler with a laugh.

Farr isn't shy to share that he feels right at home at his new label, and its made even sweeter because of his relationship with the country superstar. "I'm looking forward to working with one of my best friends in Jason Aldean, and the entire Broken Bow Team. Can't wait to see what the future holds!" he stated in a press release.
