Steven Spielberg’s daughter, Mikaela Spielberg, was arrested for domestic violence this weekend.

According to PEOPLE, the famous filmmaker’s adopted 23-year-old daughter was admitted into the Hill Detention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday morning (February 29). She has since posted bond but must remain in custody until the end of her 12-hour hold period, which is customary in domestic violence arrests.

While little is known about what transpired that resulted in Mikaela’s detainment, her fiance Chuck Pankow told Fox News that the incident was “a misunderstanding.” Without giving further information, the 47-year-old confirmed no one was harmed in the situation involving his fiancee.

Mikaela’s arrest comes just a week after revealing her aspirations to become an adult film star, telling The Sun that she’s already started self-producing solo videos with hopes of landing a dancing gig in a strip club. "I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body. And I also just got tired of working day to day in a way that wasn't satisfying to my soul,” said Mikaela, who describes herself as a “sexual creature.”

Her stage name of choice will be “Sugar Star,” and she hopes her new vocation will give her financial independence from her family, who, in case you’re wondering, have seemingly supported her decision. As previously reported, Mikaela’s adoptive parents, Steven and his wife Kate Capshaw, were “intrigued” and “not upset” when their daughter revealed her new career move.
