A new Alkaline Trio EP is coming your way in just a few weeks.
On Tuesday, Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba (who also sings in blink-182) revealed to a fan on Instagram that the band is releasing a new EP at the end of this month.
The recording hasn't been kept a secret as Alkaline Trio has been keeping fans in the loop on social media with photos from the studio. The band posted a handful of photos from its time recording from January and February and it looks like the EP is complete.
When a fan asked Skiba if there was any news on the EP, much to everyone's delight he had an answer. “I finished the art over the weekend and the 3 songs are mixed and mastered (the physical 7” vinyl is 2 songs - one on each side. Cuz punk),” he replied.
As for when we can expect some new tracks from the band? Skiba wrote that the EP will drop the day before they head out on tour with Bad Religion. Since the tour starts March 26, it looks like March 25 is the lucky day!
