Lizzo is changing her mind when it comes to potentially becoming a mom one day and her heartbreak advice is for anyone to consider. As Tanya Rad shared on-air on Wednesday, March 4, Lizzo used to say she was convinced she’d have “no children” because she considers her albums are her babies.

But during an interview with The Sunday Times, the Grammy winner revealed she’s not saying never. “It’s different now,” she told the outlet. “Like my relationship with my family, I’m working on that. I open myself up to friendships. I open myself up to the idea of children, which is big for me, ’cause my albums are my babies.”

The songstress also shed some serious light on heartbreak, which ultimately inspired her album Cuz I Love You. “As f----ed up as it sounds, I needed that heartbreak experience,” Lizzo said. “I’m not sad, because I use the pain so constructively. The pain is human experience.”
