One more reason to always have vodka on hand 😉

I have one word... coronavirus. It has everyone freaked out and buying soap or hand sanitizer like crazy! However many people don't know that conventional hand sanitizers have been known to come with their own set of risks in the past due to sketchy ingredients, including triclosan, artificial fragrances, and artificial colors.

So if you want something a little more natural... here's what you need:

  • Plain vodka (a cheap brand is fine!)
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Lavender essential oil
  • Tea tree essential oil
  • Other essential oils of your choice. Lavender and peppermint also make a great combo, if the scent of tea tree oil is too strong.
  • Small 1-2 oz bottle. Both toxin-freeplastic squeeze bottlesor plastic orglass spray bottleswork well. The hand sanitizer mixture is thin enough to be sprayed, though it will come out in more of a stream.

Check out how to make it here!
