Tyler Cameron and his family are launching a charity to honor their late mother, Andrea.

The matriarch, who died last Saturday (February 29) from a brain aneurysm at the age of 55, will be remembered by her loved ones with a foundation announced via a GoFundMe page.

Tyler’s brother, Austin, who organized the group a week after Andrea’s passing, shared the following message on behalf of the family: “In the wake of this tragic event, we feel compelled to honor our mother. We are developing a charitable foundation so that she can continue to impact others as she has always done; we feel this is the best way to continue her legacy of giving.”

The message continues: “In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the GoFundMe account so we can begin our quest of serving others like she had her entire life. Thank you for all of the support and love the community has poured down on us. We are forever grateful.”

So far, more than $9,000 of the Cameron family’s $20,000 goal has been raised.

The Bachelorette alum was “utterly devastated” by his mother’s sudden passing, and broke his silence in a heartbreaking post on Instagram the following Monday.

“Today heaven gained an angel,” Tyler captioned a poignant photo of him and his brothers holding their mother’s hand at her hospital bed. “We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on. While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support. ❤️”

Andrea, who worked in real estate and was considered a “mom to so many,” is survived by her husband, and three sons, Tyler, Austin, and Ryan.
