The woman who was slapped by DaBaby at a concert over the weekend has spoken out.
In an interview with TMZ, Tyronesha Laws reacted to the Charlotte rapper's apology, saying she didn't believe he was sincere, given the fact that he's gone on to make a joke out of it by posting a comedic skit reenacting the incident on social media.
“He still makes a joke about it like yesterday—uploaded something on his page, in a clothing store,” Tyronesha told the outlet. “I don’t feel like he was sincere with the apology. I was embarrassed. I got people calling me, writing me on Instagram with fake pages. People seeing me at my job, like saying, 'Oh, you’re the girl that got slapped.' It's embarrassing."
As previously reported, DaBaby was caught on video slapping Tyronesha's face on Saturday night (March 7) in Tampa prior to a show.
"We went upstairs on the stairway to take a picture at the picture booth by the stage," she explained of the moments prior to the incident. "I see security saying move, move, move everyone move out the way. I was standing next to a young lady and all of a sudden I turned around and I said to my boyfriend, 'There go DaBaby, he's coming through.'" Then, the woman next to her "pulled out her camera," turned on the flash, and tried taking a photo.
Tyronesha claims DaBaby then slapped her, seemingly thinking she was the woman with the phone in his face, so hard she landed on the floor. "I woke up, my head was hurting really, really bad," Tyronesha told TMZ. "The top of my right cheekbone, it was hurting like it was tender. So, I did go to the hospital and I was diagnosed with a contusion to my cheekbone."

DaBaby issued Tyronesha an apology on Instagram hours after the incident, telling his fans he smacked a woman he believed was holding her phone too close to his face.
"I do sincerely apologize, I do. I am very sorry that there was a female at the other end of the flashlight on the phone," the "Suge" rapper said on his Instagram Stories. “But keep in my mind I couldn't see you,” he explained, insisting he didn’t know he hit a woman. “We can sit down and have an adult conversation. You deserve respect, you and me both,” he offered, adding he would be willing to fly the woman out to apologize in person.
