Lil Yachty isn't here for people's ignorant comments, attacking him for wearing a dress in his latest music video.
On Wednesday (March 11), the "Speed Me Up" rapper took to Twitter to respond to the unwarranted criticism over his decision to get into character for his newly released video for "Oprah's Bank Account," featuring Drake and DaBaby.
In the visual, which is a parody of the Oprah Winfrey Show, Yachty portrays a female talk show host named "Boprah." Throughout the video, the character conducts interviews with Drake and DaBaby while wearing a number of Oprah-inspired looks, including dresses. Despite the light nature of the video, some people have been unable to separate art from reality and have been bashing Yachty for dressing as a woman.
"In my opinión you don’t need to wear no dresses or wings to sell ...you created a lane ... how I’m suppose to take this," an Internet troll wrote in response to the video. Yachty then responded, "B*tch it’s just supposed to be entertaining... it ain’t even that deep, y’all Ni**a’s so in denial with y’all masculinity sh*t like this bother y’all.. relax."

Another troll even accused Yachty of letting "the black community down" by dressing as a woman, to which he responded with a series of photos, including the famed Russell Westbrook meme, to show just how absurd the comment was.
