FrankHaveMercy is on a mission.

Six months after the release of his debut project, TPLA (The Process of Loving an Artist), the LA-based artist has returned with a new single — produced by ila orbis, Dave Jy Lee, and Naem— kicking off his monthly rollout of new music.

"Rumors," which dropped on Friday (March 13) along with its corresponding music video, is the start of a new era for the budding musician. While his journey in the music industry has in many ways just begun, Frank has ushered in a more "direct and confident" sound, as heard on the new track.

"I was just inspired to use this song as a way to communicate with myself," Frank told iHeartRadio. "I was able to address things within myself that I can't say on a day to day basis. 'Rumors' is also just inspired by life's ups and downs." He added, "The producers I work with are architects when it comes to creating a world where I'm able to effortlessly explore my thoughts and emotions. So I'm able to take everything I've ever been inspired by and put it into words and melodies."

"'Rumors' is the beginning of a constant monthly rollout for new music with new visuals directed by myself and Austen Cox," Frank explained before teasing what's to come. "This new music is more direct and more confident than any of my old music. I'm just going to continue to evolve musically and creatively until I catapult myself into the conversation with the giants of the music industry. I will be one of the most impactful musicians of all time."
