Safeway, Albertsons & More Looking To Hire 1,000 New Employees Immediately

Albertsons and Safeway are in need of more employees... and fast.

With Coronavirus concerns at an all time high, more people are heading to the grocery store in need of food. This means more hours and sometimes less hands to help.

As of now, based on a news release there are more than 1,000 "immediate" openings at its grocery stores in Arizona, including:

• cashiers
• customer service
• deli
• bakery
• meat/produce
• delivery drivers

On Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., hiring managers will conduct on-site interviews at individual stores, the release said. People are encouraged to bring an updated resume.
