Daughter Of Hip Hop Legend Eric B. In 'Critical Condition' After Car Crash

The daughter of hip-hop pioneer Eric B. has been hospitalized after a serious car crash in Connecticut over the weekend.
According to Sister2Sister, via Page Six, Erica Supreme Barrier "is in extreme critical condition" after "an 18 wheeler rolled over her vehicle at approximately 1am in Hartford" on Sunday. "Barrier is suffering from severe neck and spine fractures, among her many life threatening injuries," Eric B.’s long time publicist, Alvina Alston, told the outlet, adding, "the family is at her bedside and asking for your prayers."
Connecticut state police later confirmed to Page Six that Erica was in a Mini Cooper Countryman on I-91 in Connecticut just before 1 a.m. on Sunday morning when it “stopped in the center lane” and an oncoming truck “was unable to stop in time and impacted the rear of [Erica’s car].” The 28-year-old “sustained serious injuries,” according to the police report, “and was transported to Hartford Hospital.”
The truck driver was not injured, according to police, per Page Six.
The investigation is ongoing.
