Man Enters Walmart Wearing Hazmat Suit, Starts Spraying People With Liquid

A Walmart in Las Vegas, Nevada, was evacuated after a person walked into the store wearing a hazmat suit and started spraying items and people with a clear liquid.

“He had some clear liquid in it with the painter’s tape, something written on it,” witness Zandra Calma told KLAS. “He was just spraying unnecessary things and peoples’ person spaces, on conveyor belts, and worst of all, by the fresh foods.”

Authorities said that 13 people came in contact with the liquid. Nobody showed any symptoms or required hospitalization as a result of the exposure. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, but a bystander managed to record their license plate as they drove away.

The suspect was taken into custody but has not been identified. It is unknown if they will face charges.
