Brett Young Quarantined On Tour Bus, In His Driveway

Brett Young isn't taking any risks when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. The country star, who returned home from Europe last week, revealed that he is quarantined on his tour bus until he can be sure he isn't infected.

"We had [shows in] Stockholm and Oslo, and we got the Oslo show canceled, like, an hour before the show. I think that was a Wednesday night in the middle of the week. With everything that was going on, we just ended up making the decision to buy flights home," Young explained in a recent interview. "And that ended up being two or three hours before Trump announced the travel ban."

Once Young returned to the country, he says he didn't even touch or kiss his wife or daughter. The singer spent the first night home sleeping in a separate bedroom but after further discussing with his wife, decided to isolate himself a bit more. Over the last few days, Young has been quarantined on his tour bus in the driveway of his family's home.

"I think I might be on the over-cautious side of things, for most people, but I'm hiding out on the bus," Young admits, adding, "Me and the pup are hiding out."

Initially, the plan was to spend five days away from the family, but new reports show that it may take up to two weeks for someone who could have been exposed to the coronavirus to actually show symptoms. With that, Young will isolate himself for two weeks to ensure he and his family stay safe.

"Until I can get my hands on a test to make sure I'm doing good, I'm gonna give it two weeks," he says. "Because the last thing I wanna do is give our little 4-month-old something."

At this time, health officials with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have confirmed more than 7,000 cases of the coronavirus in the United States and 97 deaths. Globally, the virus has infected more than 193,400 people and killed more than 7,800 according to the World Health Organization.
