Spring Breakers Vow To "Party On" Despite Coronavirus Warnings
March 19, 2020
This is frustrating to watch.
Despite pleas from the CDC and government officials to help slow the spread of the coronavirus... these spring breakers insist on keeping the party going.
“If I get corona, I get corona,” Brady Sluder, an Ohio resident on spring break in Florida, told Reuters. “At the end of the day, I’m not gonna let it stop me from partying.”
Video from Florida over the weekend showed packed beaches even though the CDC issued dire warnings to avoid crowds.
As of now, the mayors of Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale issued orders to close their beaches.
The City of Tampa also closed public beaches until further notice. Naples also announced Wednesday that it would close its beaches until March 30.
