A man living in Cyprus who has spent the past five days quarantined because of the global coronavirus pandemic wanted to let his dog go outside to get some exercise while he was cooped up inside his home.

Vakis Demetriou grabbed his drone, attached his dog's leash to it, and then let his dog roam the streets of Limassol on the island nation's southeastern coast.

In a brief video posted to Facebook, the dog appeared to be happy wandering the empty streets.

"5th day quarantine. Stay Home Safe but don't forget your dog happiness.. 😇😇😇," he wrote.

The video was reposted on Twitter, where a few users wondered who would clean up after the dog while Demetriou was stuck inside.
