Sam Hunt has released the new music video for his latest single, "Hard To Forget," which samples Webb Pierce's 1953 hit, "There Stands The Glass."
The video, directed by Tim Mattia, features several characters residing at a local motel dubbed "Southside Motel" after Hunt's forthcoming Southside album. Hunt, who is one of the tenants himself, starts the video off singing from his room before transitioning to show a variety of others people staying at the motel too. Everything from a circus clown, to a cowboy with a goat and a little girl dancing is captured in the video.
"Hard To Forget" follows up Hunt's latest chart topper, "Kinfolks." Both songs are expected to be featured on Hunt's highly anticipated sophomore album, Southside, due out on April 3. Additionally, previously released songs including "Drinkin' too Much," "Body Like A Back Road," "Downtown's Dead," and "Sinning With You" will also be included on the record. The full track listing can be seen here.
In support of his new record, Hunt will hit the road this summer for his "Southside Summer Tour." Joining Hunt on the trek will be opening acts, Kip Moore and Travis Denning. Due to health concerns surrounding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Hunt postponed the start of the tour until mid-June.
The tour's opening date will now be in Atlanta on June 11, with Charlotte, Raleigh and Bristow being moved to October 1, 2, and 3. All purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. A full list of cities and dates can be seen here. Tickets to the tour are on sale now.
