Michelle Williams & Thomas Kail Secretly Tied The Knot

Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail are officially husband and wife!

The newlyweds—who are also expecting their first child together—reportedly tied the knot in a secret ceremony, according to Us Weekly. Williams and Kail announced both their engagement and pregnancy news back late December. Though the couple manages to stay out of the public eye, they sparked speculation that they'd wed earlier this week when the Daily Mail published photos of them wearing wedding rings.

Neither Williams or Kail has commented publicly on their happy news, a source confirmed to Us that they are, in fact, husband and wife. This will comes as no surprise to fans of the talented couple as a source previously revealed they were hoping “to be married” before their little one arrived. "They’re very happy and thrilled to be bringing a baby into the world,” the source added.

According to Us Weekly's source, Williams and Kail “fell hard and fast for each other” after their respective splits from their spouses. Williams' relationship with singer-songwriter Phil Elverum came to an end in April 2019 after less than a year of marriage, while Kail split from his wife Angela Christian in early 2019, as well. “It’s messy behind the scenes,” the source added.

While this will be Kail's first child, Williams is already mother to her 14-year-old daughter Matilda—who she shared with the late actor Heath Ledger. In her Golden Globes acceptane speech in January, Williams, thanked both Kail and her daughter. “Tom, I share this with you,” she said. “Matilda, it is one thing to be completely honest as an actor, it is another to be completely honest as a human being. That is just who you are and how you live. You teach me by being you. I love you and I am coming home.”
