Tesla CEO Elon Musk supplies California hospitals with 1,255 ventilators

After being prompted on Twitter to help aid the nationwide ventilator shortage, Tesla & SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has bought 1,255 ventilators to be distributed for free to California hospitals.
Musk tweeted, βChina had an oversupply, so we bought 1255 FDA-approved ResMed, Philips & Medtronic ventilators on Friday night & airshipped them to LA.β California Governor Gavin Newsom made the announcement in a press conference Monday, calling the exchange βa heroic effort."
