Britney Spears has called for a socialist-leaning redistribution of wealth and strike for workers amid the coronavirus outbreak.
On Tuesday (March 24), the pop icon, who recently offered to give struggling fans money during the pandemic, reposted the political-charged words of writer Mimi Zhu via Instagram. "During this time of isolation, we need connection now more than ever," the text read. "Call your loved ones, write virtual letters. Technologies like virtual communication, streaming and broadcasting are part of our community collaboration."
"We will learn to kiss and hold each other through the waves of the web. We wil [sic] feed each other, re-destribute [sic] wealth, strike," the graphic text continued. "We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay. Communion moves beyond walls. We can still be together." Over in the caption section, Spears added three red rose emojis, which is a symbol associated with the digital socialist movement.
As always, Twitter had some worthy replies to Spears' latest backing and the responses were just as entertaining as you might be expecting. Scroll on below to see the responses to Comrade Britney!

Britney Spears’ evolution from “you better work, bitch” to “strike, and redistribute the wealth” symbolizes a rejection of false consciousness and a refusal to participate in capitalism’s fraudulent “hustle” culture. In this essay I will
