Michelle Money Reveals Her Daughter Is 'Off The Ventilator' After Accident

Michelle Money took to Instagram Stories on Friday (April 10) to share an exciting update on her daughter Brielle's recovery progress. From her daughter's ICU hospital room, The Bachelor Nation alum revealed that Brielle's breathing tube had been removed. Though Brielle is now able to breathe on her own, she still remains in a medically induced coma.
“Guess who got extubated today? Brie,” Michelle shares in the video. “You guys, she’s got her neck brace off. She’s off the ventilator.” She also shared the her daughter is now “off most of her drugs,” however, her nurses and doctors are still “weening her” off some of the other medication she's been on.
“She’s on a lot of morphine, but she is a fighter. She’s moving,” Michelle continued. “It’s just been so emotional.” I’m just so proud of her. Things are going really good.”
Brielle father and Michelle's ex-husband, Ryan Money, also provided an update on Brielle's recovery following her skateboarding accident. He posted a video that shows Brielle moving her hand while under sedation. “SO MUCH PROGRESS!!! I do not say this flippantly, your prayers are being heard and felt,” he wrote alongside the video.
“Brielle started moving and will raise her eyebrows when ‘yelled’ at or pinched," Ryan's caption continues. "The medical staff is asking her to squeeze their fingers or move her toes and she will do it most of the time. Her left side is definitely more responsive than her right side. She moves her left hand a lot (video) and is getting some expressions in her face.”
Brielle has been hospitalized since March 29. Her parents continue to update their followers on her condition, as well as request thoughts and prayers for her continued recovery.
