Scottsdale-based AXON commits at least $1M for masks & other PPE items

Another great local company doing amazing things in the community.
Scottsdale-based Axon Enterprise Inc. said it will spend $1 million to provide personal protective equipment (also known as PPE) to first responders in the fight against COVID-19.
According to a recent article, Axon said it will also match up to $500,000 in community donations, which may be made to the #GotYouCovered campaign through May 31.
According to their website,
Through a donation matching program, Axon has committed up to $500,000 to the National Police Foundation to help send one million masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to first responders. We will match donations made to the Got You Covered campaign through May 31, 2020, and 100 percent of funds will go directly towards helping reduce first responder exposure to COVID-19 by purchasing medical masks, gloves and hand sanitizer.
