Demi Lovato wishes her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama “nothing but the best.”

Months after Lovato’s former flame announced his plans to marry model Amanda Pacheco, the “I Love Me” singer has officially broken her true feelings on the situation.

The superstar dated the That ‘70s Show actor — when she was just 18 and he was 29 — for six years before the lovebirds called it quits in 2016. So much time has passed since then, and with the news of Valderrama’s engagement making headlines earlier this year, many have been anxious to see how Lovato would react to the news.

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar as the cover girl of the magazine’s May issue, Lovato admits she’s “really happy for him” but that chapter of her life has long been closed, adding, “I wish him nothing but the best, but we’re not in each other’s lives, haven’t spoken in a long time.”

"I think I needed that because I needed to learn to be okay on my own,” she expressed. “When you get into a relationship with somebody at that young of an age and then you spend six years with somebody, you don't really get to learn about yourself."

As far as her current love life is concerned, the “Anyone” musician admitted to using the celebrity-centric dating and social app Raya but “deleted it out of respect to the person I was with, then we broke up and I went to get back on.” She eventually deleted the app for good — opting to be alone for the time being.

Even so, it’s been speculated that Lovato has been reportedly dating actor Max Ehrich since late-March.
