Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich aren't quarantining together under the same roof amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite being married, Hough, 31, and Laich, 36, are venturing through the pandemic without each other by their sides. "They are still together, but just not quarantined in the same place. Their relationship has always been like this, though — they like to do their own thing," an insider told People. While Hough is still in Los Angeles, Laich appears to be in Idaho "living the simple life in nature, which makes him happy."
Elsewhere in the report, the insider admitted that the two still are experiencing hardships, but they're working hard on their bond. "Their marriage is not perfect, but they continue to work on it," the source added. "They speak all the time. Brooks is coming back to L.A. once the stay-home order is lifted."
Hough and Laich have been at the center of gossip headlines after the former admitted to her husband that she was "not straight." Since then, the pair have been under a microscope regarding any talk of their romance or individual pursuits. In fact, the former NHL player also revealed that he's intent on exploring his sexuality.
As of last week, Hough admitted to her Instagram following that she is still trying to get a hang of quarantine life. "Anyone else feel like this quarantine is bringing out all the versions of yourself at a rapid pace?" she captioned a selfie. "Riding on a tidal wave of emotions daily? Experiencing the highs, lows, ups, downs, sideways, diagonals and inbetweens? I’m kinda diggin’ meeting all these characters..."
