Cory Marks Releases New Single, 'Devil's Grin'

Country rock artist, Cory Marks, has released his new single, "Devil's Grin" on Friday (April 17). The new track is another glimpse at his forthcoming album, Who I Am.

"The song ‘Devil’s Grin’ is a story about that person you can’t seem to get enough of even though you know it just means trouble. That angel’s smile is the devil’s grin," Marks explains.

"This heart of gold don’t stand a chance / It’s the same old song, it’s the same old dance," he sings in the chorus. "Every man’s prayer but a mother’s sin / Her angel’s smile is a devil’s grin."

"Devil's Grin" follows up Marks' previous single, "Outlaws & Outsiders," which features country icon Travis Tritt, Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch and Mick Mars from Mötley Crüe. The song has received over 10 million streams worldwide and is still growing.

"'Outlaws & Outsiders' is a song for anyone who's ever felt different, or like an outsider period," Marks explains. "You can be an outlaw in many different ways and as an artist, for me it's simply creating something different, something unique and out of the box. It is doing my own thing and telling my own story."

Additionally, Marks recently announced he will join Breaking Benjamin and Bush as the opening act for their tour across the country this summer. He will also be special guest to Alice Cooper for two dates in July as part of his "Ol' Black Eyes Is Back Tour." Further details on Marks' upcoming shows can be seen here.
