Playboi Carti Returns With New Single '@Meh'

The baby voice is back!

On Thursday (April 16), Playboi Carti made his long-awaited return, dropping his first solo single, “@ Meh," since his debut album Die Lit in May 2018.

The track, which was produced by jetsonmade, Neeko Baby and Tahj Morgan, is the lead single off of Carti’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Whole Lotta Red.

On the track, Carti comes out the gate swinging as he raps over an electro, video game sounding beat: "Just talk sh*t/Them pu**y ni**as ain't 'bout that sh*t (Yeah, yeah)/ Them pu**y ni**as ain't 'bout that/ Okay, okay."

The Atlanta rapper released the track along with its corresponding music video, which was directed by Carti and Nick Walker. The visual finds Carti sitting and rapping in front of a dark back drop, joined only by a half-naked woman at certain points in the video.

The "Magnolia" rapper first teased “@ Meh" on Tuesday (April 14) when he shared cryptic artwork on social media as well as a few equally as vague Twitter posts. Adding to the anticipation, in the days before the song's release, a snippet of the track was leaked online.
