Stuff From My Studio: Day 15 Painter Morris Katz

Morris Katz was a painter who used toilet paper and a knife to paint. And he was fast!
My parents had a painting of his in the living room forever. One day in 2007, I saw him painting and selling his work on a street in NYC. I was so excited to meet him and tell him about the painting I grew up with so he painted this. He even put in a black dog for me!!
This date was July 12th, 2007. Sadly Morris died in 2010.
