The Game's sexual assault accuser has reportedly been granted ownership of the rapper's independent record label as well as royalties from his latest album, Born 2 Rap.
According to AllHipHop, Priscilla Rainey, who was awarded $7,130,100 in damages after The Game failed to appear in court for the sexual assault case back in 2016, is now the owner of Born 2 Rap, so she will receive the royalties from the album. She will also reportedly receive the salary the 40-year-old rapper, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was receiving through his record label.
Per the legal documents, via Complex:
Any and all rights, title, and interest of Defendant in any money, property, or payments due to Defendant from LA Prolific, in the form of, among other things, commission, royalties, contract receivables, deferred compensation, income, wages, payroll, salary, and accounts receivable. Failure by Defendant to comply with this Order may subject him to contempt of Court proceedings ...
It's further ordered that all third parties who receive notice of this Order are directed to pay any and all money or property due, or to become due, under this Order, directly to Plaintiff either: (1) by check payable to "Priscilla Rainey," and delivered to Plaintiff's counsel ... until and to the extent necessary to pay the Judgement in full.
The Game's manager, Wack 100, however, denied the news, writing on Instagram, "Last time I checked #Wack 100 owned all royalties to born to Rap. And I don’t owe the b*tch a dime. When the #CDC # has their # who knows maybe I might lose in a dice game one day … But as of right now Today it’ll be right here in my little ole portfolio."
Back in 2019, The Game spoke about his legal battle with Priscilla, who sued him for an alleged sexual assault that took place while filming his VH1 reality show She's Got Game, saying he would never pay her the $7 million she was awarded.
"It’s a lying b*tch making up a story. That sh*t is f**king crazy 'cause I had a f**king dentist appointment, I missed court, and a judge would give a b*tch a judgment for $7 million..." he said during an appearance on Everyday Struggle at ComplexCon 2019. "I ain’t giving that b*tch nothing. It’d be different if I was one of those weird-a** n***as touching pu**ies in the club, but I was nowhere near this b*tch."
