He's back!

Chris Cuomo rose from his upstate New York basement on Monday (April 20) after three weeks of isolation following his coronavirus diagnosis.

"The moment I could finally emerge from my basement. LETS GET AFTER IT!!!," Chris captioned the video that showed him literally walking up from the bottom floor and strolling over to greet his wife, Cristina, and their children.

"All right, here it is: The official re-entry from the basement. Cleared by CDC," he said in the clip. "This is what I've been dreaming of, literally, for weeks."

Chris then announced that, like him, Cristina had been cleared by the CDC. As previously reported, the CNN anchor, who revealed that he'd tested positive for the coronavirus on March 31, announced last week in an interview with his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, that Cristina had also tested positive for COVID-19.

"She doesn't have a fever, she doesn't have the symptoms anymore, she's seven days from quarantine," Chris said in the video. "We're still a little scared, so I'll just give you one of these," he added as he gave his family the shaka sign instead of hugging them.

"This is the dream, just to be back up here doing normal things," Chris continued, before praising his family for their support. "Thank you for being so nice to me, thank you for taking care of everything you had to, thank you for taking care of me, and Bella, thank you for stepping up and now adding family videographer to your resume."

"She's rolling her eyes," he said of his 17-year-old daughter, who was operating the camera.
