Woman does different performance everyday on her front porch amid pandemic

April 22, 2020

One woman does different porch performances by dressing up as famous characters to promote staying home during the coronavirus pandemic. Erin Kemble from Virginia lifts the spirits of her neighbors by dressing up as these different characters like E.T. to Rosie the Riveter.

"I started doing it to keep my sanity," Kemble told "Good Morning America." The mom of three, who was in catering prior to the lockdown, said her daily porch performance has become like a job.

"I'm not on the front lines," Kemble said to “GMA,” "but if I can be a fool and make people laugh that's great.”

She even made and wore a Violet outfit from “Willy Wonka” with a sign that said “Don’t Be Blue!”

"I just love the silliness of it all," she said to “GMA.”

She promises to keep up her porch performances until June 10.
